Born into a creative family of music, art and literature, Diana has been fortunate in enjoying and developing the arts throughout her childhood and into adult life, in many creative ways.

Diana studied music at Dartington College of Arts, Totnes, Devon, UK and has a Bachelor of Arts in music. She has taught music privately; piano and voice, in both the UK and Canada at Allegro Music School, Ottawa. She has studied piano with John Kofi Dapaah in Ottawa and has had online vocal coaching with Lori Joachim Frederics, New Jersey, singing in Italian, French and German.

Diana has sung in many choirs and ensembles both in the UK and Canada. Whilst living in Canada she has performed and sung with Coro Vivo, Ottawa. A Lively Choir, singing in many different styles and languages; classical; including Gloria in D major by Antonio Vivaldi; spirituals; madrigals; folk songs; Broadway; show tunes and pop, including the Beatles, all under the Baton of Antonio Llaca a Cuban born and active conductor, teacher and clinician at Carlton University Ottawa.

Diana has also sung with Opera South West in The Drum Theatre, in the Theatre Royal, Plymouth in operas, including Jacques Offenbach’ Orpheus in the Under World, as Venus; George Bizet’s Carmen, and Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus.

Now living and teaching back in the UK Plymouth since 2018, she has once again established her private music practice; Crescendo Music Studio.

Diana is delighted and honoured to be on her home ground once again and singing and performing with a very welcoming company, Gilbert and Sulivan Plymouth.
